The delicious white and black skulls print collection from Yes Master is one of my favourite picks for this Autumn/Winter. With promise of adventure and even something just a little bit mischievous, this set with delicate black frill detail is simply wicked.
When we asked Igor Pacemski, Yes Master designer, for his inspiration, his response was, 'Britannia vs. Libertine, a juxtaposition of elegance in the English and French courts between Elizabeth I up until the time of Mary Antoinette and the rebellious British yet Libetrinesque spirit of Vivienne Westwood during her punk days on the Kings Road'.
There is something so alluring about the quirky naughtiness of what could be considered a 'piratesque' collection that conjures up mutinous pirates in search of hidden treasure on the ocean wave.
Ever since Alexander McQueen featured the skull and crossbones print in his 2003 Spring/Summer collection, the theme has seen everywhere. From Pirates of the Caribbean to Paperchase stationery, the skull and crossbones are here to stay.
Quite simply, this set is perfect for those pirates in search of treasure...and can be found at This entry was posted in Daily Thoughts, Lingerie Reviews and tagged yes master, vivienne westwood, lingerie on September 6, 2007 . ← Previous Post Next Post →
