US Town Bans Visible Underwear

Declambre, Louisiana:

The town council have unanimously passed a bill making it a criminal offence to wear baggy trousers that expose underwear. Showing any part of your underwear in public will be considered indecent exposure.

Anyone breaking this law faces a fine of $500 (£254), as well as a possible jail sentence.

The Mayor of Declambre, Carol Broussard, denies that this law will especially target the black community where the hip-hop fashion of baggy trousers is particularly prevalent, saying "White people wear sagging pants, too.

Carol Broussard spoke of those affected by the new law: "They're better off taking the pants off and just wearing a dress."

Perhaps Mayor Carol who is a man should spend more time working out why he has a womans name
