Hundreds of stars turned out for the National TV Awards on the 29th October dressed for the occasion. For once, there were no major incidents of fashion faux-pas with most of the attendees looking stunning. Cheryl Cole, however, failed to make the most of her fantastic figure as she walked clumsily down the carpet, pulling a silly face to photographers. She wore a beautiful green dress but being unable to wear a good bra didn’t make the most of her shape.
Desperate Housewives star, Nicollette Sheridan, brought some Hollywood glamour to the proceedings in a dramatic, floor length, red gown. Alesha Dixon wore an extravagant feather dress, and Danni Minogue wowed in a gold number. No one gave an indication of the freezing temperatures they had to endure as they walked in the Royal Albert Hall, where the awards were held.
The Hollyoaks cast turned up in force, and Matt Littler won a well deserved award for his outstanding drama serial performance as Max Cunningham in the soap. Eastenders won two awards, as did Doctor Who as David Tennant announced he was quitting his role as the Time Lord. For the eighth year in a row, Ant and Dec won the most popular entertainment presenter prize.
