STATE OF UNDRESS designer lingerie by Alexandra Suhner and Emma Cheevers is located in London, UK.

Alexandra trained in the Helen Lefaux college in Vancouver, Canada the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and Central St. Martins London.
Emma studied poetry and politics and then an MA in Fashion Journalism at Central St. Martins, London.

State of Undress lingerie is feminine though not provocative. Sexy, but not sweet whilst evoking the glamour days of the 1940’s silver screen and vintage lingerie. Made from 100% silk, their beautiful prints are created by some of London’s most famous textile artists including Daniel Reynolds, Dominique Devaux and Oonagh O’Hagan.

These lingerie designers come from Vancouver, Canada with Alexandra working with the designers at Sonia Rykel and then going to London. Emma, a longtime collector of vintage lingerie, found her interest focused by her final thesis.

Alexandra's degree graduate collection was part of London Fashion Week and was bought by Burberry afterwards for the Spring/Summer 2003 season.

Emma worked with the photographer Chris Moore and later became a senior editor with the prestigious Worth Global Style Network. State of Undress are magnificent lingere designers.
