Lingerie That Has Never Touched Soapy Water
According to a recent article published in the British tabloid newspaper the Mirror ‘a survey of 2,000 British women, aged 20-65, found that we only wash our bras six times a year ‘, whilst at the same time we ‘spend £2,700 in a lifetime’ to be well ‘dressed’.
Other facts included; ‘on average, we own 16 different bras, buy four new ones every year, and will wear one seven times in two months before it sees soap powder’.
Worrying? Not nearly as disturbing as the revelation that ‘even Dame Vivienne Westwood, 68, admitted: “Often, I put talcum powder on them to clean them.”
