Mio Destino Lingerie

I love lingerie, for me this is my addiction, some women love shoes, I love lingerie! This underwear passion of mine is not just a side hobby developed while building a sizeable knickers wardrobe, but is a big part of my life. From both working in the industry and currently studying Lingerie Design at De Montfort University, it is fair to say that I have seen, designed, constructed, deconstructed, fitted, reviewed, tailored and admired just a few hundred, likely thousand of bras in my day.

I would like to think I have a pretty sharp eye when it comes to identifying and evaluating good lingerie. Obviously, as you can imagine, fashion and personal taste play a large role. However, for me fit is the most important aspect when buying lingerie and is always one of my top priorites. Studies have shown that 80% of women are in the wrong sized bra and I believe that often both women (and men) just don’t know what to look for in a well constructed, good fitting bra.

As Mio Destino’s new Lingerie Expert, think of me as your good friend out with you on your lingerie shopping journey. I will regularly review lingerie, try it on and tell you what I think from both a personal style perspective and with a critical designers eye.
